The area being referred to as Oak Hollow North (now known as Oak Hollow Estates) is just east of Henderson Pass, south of Thousand Oaks, west of Jones Maltsberger and bordered on the south by Fallbrook, Lovetree and Burning Trail streets. For geographical convenience, the subdivisions of Whisper Hollow and Country Oaks were also included, even though the homes in Country oaks are mostly garden homes and those homes in Whisper Hollow are somewhat newer than the rest of the area. The area is just northeast of the Turkey Creek Horse Stables and the new bridge.
As of November 2, 2009, there are 6 homes for sale in Oak Hollow North, and 4 are under contract. So far this year through October, there have been 26 sales at an average price of $178,700. Average days on the market was 67 days. A total of 37 homes were sold in this area in 2007, and 28 in 2008.
There are signs that rates are going up soon. But for now, with good credit, a good job and some savings, interest rates of between 5% and 5.25% for both government and conventional loans are availbale. Both are 30-year fixed rates. This was as of November 2, 2009. This will be a great year to start the home ownership process! The market has picked up for both buyers and sellers, and there are plenty of great homes and good loans out there!
Looks like we are on track for another great year in home sales! Have a safe day. My cell is 860-6402.
