The number of homes sold in Bountiful Utah increased by 18% during the third quarter, which is much better than the decrease last quarter. The median sold price went down 3.5% but average sold price increased by 3%. Median listed prices are in the $300,000 range while average prices jumped 44% to the $500,000 range.
Bountiful and the Davis County Real Estate Market are on the right path towards recovering. The amount of inventory on the market continues to decline and home sales are rising each month.
2009 started off slow for Real Estate sales. Sales were down 18% in 2008 compared to 2007, and the average price was down 9%. Bountiful Currently has 235 active listings, and 8.27 months of active inventory. The average list price is substantially more than the average sales price.
