No news yet on the extention of the $8000 grant money, however the one good thing that did happen is they passed it to be extended for Military and a couple of other groups, which mean it is looking good for everyone. I will keep you updated as I know more. Be sure to ask your lender about any programs as well. The market has seen some signs of recovery, however I think for the next year we will still see it slower than in the past and home prices still lower. Average price for a home sold in Roy this past month was around $165,000 with average days on the market around 70 days. What does this mean for you the home buyer and seller? Well it seems that things are starting to look up. The market is still slower than in the past and will most likely be through-out the next year, however we have seen it starting to come back which is great news for all of us. Roy is a great area for affordable housing and it's location is desirable for those looking to be close to shopping, restaurant's and the military base, Hill Air Force Base. This area is great for people looking to to purchase homes in a nice area at a reasonable price.
