Buyers have lots of choices. Average days on the market is 83 whereas it was only 65 days a year ago. New Home Builders are again offering incentives such as a free rec room or closing cost assistance. Prices will probably remain relatively stable since sales prices are starting lower than they were a year ago, but downward pressure still exists and most sellers will negotiate. New lender guidelines are making mortgage loans harder to get, especially below $417,000.
