Within the last month Falls Church has seen 53 single family homes, 11 townhomes, and 38 condos change hands. Closing prices for single family homes ranged from $220,000 for an 825 square foot, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath bungalow that needs to be torn down or completely renovated, to $1,462,425 for a 4,620 square foot, completely renovated, 5 bedroom, 4 bath, waterfront home on Lake Barcroft. Closing prices for townhomes ranged from $265,000 for a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 3-level, 1-car garage townhome sold as a short sale to $725,000 for a 2,232 square foot, 3 bedroom 2 full bath, 2 half bath, 3-level, completely renovated townhome in the City of Falls Church. Closing prices for condos ranged from $90,000 for a 763 square-foot, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, short sale in need of some repairs, to $575,000 for a new 2,042 square-foot, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 2-level, updated condo across the street from the Metro. The median number of days these properties remained on the market was 35 days.
