Web Use Exploding
An application for REALTORS®

The Web is exploding and there seems to be no end in site, according to two different reports from USA Today. The Internet has about 100 million users today, up from 30 million in December of 1996, and it not slowing down. According to Find/SVP twenty million adults say that the Net is indispensable, and at least 20% of the population turns to the Net for news. AOL has more paid subscribers than the 11 biggest newspapers combined. Yahoo! drew 115 million page views in June, up from 95 million in March. That is an astounding 21% increase in just three months!

Here on the local front, Real Times traffic has increased over 103 % during the same three months. In a report done by Real Times, the top seven real estate sites on the Web - combined for over 8 million visitors. One can only guess what the next 12 months will bring to the Net, Real Estate, and Real Times.
