Community Association Group Hosts 45th Annual Conference

In an era of rising concern about the power of condominium, cooperative and homeowner associations, the Community Associations Institute brings together leading voices in the debate over how community associations must change and evolve at the Institute's 45th National Conference in Arlington, Va., Oct. 29-31.

With more than 50 percent of new metropolitan development in a community association format today, interest in developing progressive, responsive community associations has never been higher.

Top issues at CAI's 45th National Conference include, reinventing community association governance to promote community spirit and forge connections to the community outside the association; amending standardized, outdated documents to meet new challenges; developing land and selling homes in community associations -- the builder/developer's role in innovation; and analyzing the economic and public policy impact of aging in America.

CAI's 45th National Conference features nationally recognized educators, critics, public officials, attorneys expert in community association law, involved homeowners and managers with experience in the trenches of community association governance. For registration information, call the Community Associations Institute at (703) 548-8600 or visit the Institute's Web site at www.caionline.org.

The Community Associations Institute is a nonprofit association created in 1973 to educate and represent the nation's 205,000 community associations - condominium associations, homeowner associations and cooperatives. CAI members include homeowners, associations and related professionals and service providers.
