Realty Executives International announces the results of its Referral Network program, which guarantees the referral fees to the referring agent. The only program of its kind in the country to date, the Referral Network has increased the closing rate by 46.9 percent for its participants, according to the company.
Rich LaRue, CRS, was appointed Director of the Referral Network at the beginning of 1998. Under his guidance, the Referral Network and its guarantee of referral fees has led to better service for the client and a greater sense of ownership for the referring agent.
Since LaRue’s appointment as director, there have been changes in the philosophy behind the Referral Network. Agents now uncover more information about the referred client and develop a personality profile in order to match them with an agent that will best suit their personality and their needs. The referring agent also keeps in regular contact with the referred client to ensure their needs are satisfied by their new agent and to ensure a smooth transition with the sales process. A higher level of satisfaction for clients is provided, therefore leading to more closings and profitability, according to the company.
Founded over 30 years ago as the nation’s first 100 percent commission company, Realty Executives International has 7,600 sales associates and almost 500 franchises in six countries.
