Windermere Unveils Niche Marketing Program
An application for REALTORS®

Vacation, retirement and second homes featured on new Seasunandsnow.com

SEATTLE, Wash. - Buying or renting a property near the ocean, next to a quiet lake in the woods or on the slopes just got a little easier. Seasunandsnow.com, an Internet site created by Windermere Real Estate, now helps buyers and renters locate vacation, retirement and second homes in Northwest destination communities.

The new site, located at seasunandsnow.com, features an extensive collection of properties for sale and for rent, with online property profiles featuring photographs and information on specific amenities, including access to golf, tennis, beach, pool, skiing, marina and exercise facilities.

"Seasunandsnow.com is the anchor of a marketing program available to Windermere agents and their clients in nearly 50 destination communities throughout the Northwest," said Jeanne Grainger, Windermere executive vice president. "It's also a value-added program for Windermere agents in metropolitan offices, where purchasers of these types of properties are likely to reside."

Designed to draw potential buyers and renters to the site time and time again, seasunandsnow.com includes:

  • Hundreds of properties available for purchase in the Northwest's favorite destination locations, from the Oregon Coast to Washington's San Juan Islands to Idaho's Sun Valley, with dozens more added weekly.

  • Vacation rental properties, for the customer who would prefer to rent before buying.

  • Community information, including scenic photography.

  • A Personalized Home SearchSM function, offering a fast way to create, save and refer to search criteria built upon a customer's specific, individual needs.

  • An "E-mail to a Friend" feature, which allows site visitors the ability to send property profile pages to a friend or family member.

  • "Print Property Flyer" feature, mortgage calculator and a mapping option.

  • An "Add to Favorites List" feature, which gives site visitors an opportunity to save specific properties to a personalized list.

  • Expanded display pages with additional photographs and information on selected properties.

    The program also includes collateral print marketing materials and sign riders. In addition to the Web site, Windermere will unveil a regionally-distributed magazine in March, Lifestyle Northwest, that showcases Sea, Sun and Snow properties, among others.
