Planet of the Apes it's not, but someone will go ape over it.
The $1.3 million home of recently deceased Roddy McDowall has gone on the
market.
A place Lassie would have loved to come home to, the 47-year-old house is
nearly 5,000 square feet and includes a media room with a bar, according to the
Los Angeles Times.
The B-movie star also added rose gardens, winding paths, a pool and hot tub to
the grounds. Four bedrooms, maid's quarters and a two-bedroom guest suite round
out the property.
During some of McDowall's 26 years in the Studio City home, he was visited by
Hollywood greats like Liz Taylor, one of his closest friends.
