Ralph Roberts Launches New Sales Primer

If you have heard about Ralph Roberts, known as America's #1 salesman, you know that his selling skills are the stuff of legend. He sells over six hundred houses a year and earns fifty times the fees of the average real estate agent.

Roberts also spends much of his time speaking and leading seminars on selling. He has a successful shadowing program in which agents pay up to a $3,000 to follow Roberts around and learn how he conducts his business. Practicing what he preaches, Roberts shadows other top sales professionals in a wide variety of fields.

When he and his publicist at the time, Joe Hafner got the idea to contact major media to encourage them to do a story on real estate and his selling skills, Time Magazinetook the bait. Splashing Roberts across one of its covers in November of 1995, Time dubbed him "America's scariest salesman." Roberts' career as an national selling treasure was secure.

Roberts expanded his one-office operation, adding personnel in administration and in sales. He then followed up on the fame generated by the Time article with his first book, Walk Like a Giant, Sell Like a Madman, published in September, 1997, a pull-no-punches story of how he made it from rags to riches. Roberts is as proud of his detours and U-turns as he is of burning up the straght-away You learn more from your mistakes, he has said.

Adding numerous speaking engagements to his already full schedule, Roberts spent much of 1998 out of town. Finally his own staff asked him, "Why don't you stay home and teach us a thing or two?" Roberts responded with weekly seminars for his employees, and found himself with ready-made content for another potential best-seller.

Roberts new book, 52 Weeks of Sales Success can be found in wide distribution, including Amazon.com.

Included in his topics are ways to:

  • Spot business opportunities where your competition doesn't.
  • Learn tips for breaking the sales slump.
  • Know how to get the most out of your past clients and when to "fire" a customer.
  • Acquire surefire methods to supercharge your networking efforts.
  • Learn the keys to marketing a home-based business.
  • Design outlines for developing your daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly success checklists.

In addition, Roberts includes strategies and sales techniques from other sales superstars whom he has shadowed in other related industries including advertising, investments, Internet service, insurance, travel, and mortgage brokering, among others.

52 Weeks of Sales Success promises to "set you apart from every other salesperson." Targeted at the real estate entrepreneur, Roberts' methods are designed to help you:
