at the
National Association of Realtors (NAR) convention in Washington, D.C., the
launch of its latest
Realtor(R) product -- MLS2000, an Internet-based system to operate multiple
listing services
(MLS) where real estate agents share their inventory of homes for sale.
More than 900 MLS systems currently operate in the United States, typically
on an outsourced
basis through independent MLS vendors.
Joining HomeSeekers to manage MLS2000 are two top industry veterans, Ira
Luntz and
Todd Colthorp. Best known as founders of BORIS Systems, Luntz headed BORIS'
development
and operations, and Colthorp led the BORIS sales and marketing efforts.
Collectively, they bring
more than 35 years of MLS- and real estate-related experience to HomeSeekers.
