Virginia Cook, former president of Henry S. Miller Realtors has announced the launch of her new mid-size brokerage firm, Virginia Cook Realtors, which will open with three offices in Dallas, Texas, North Dallas and Plano, Texas. Cook plans to expand the firm to 15 offices within five years.

Her partner in the venture is Sheila Rice, a former vice president and manager of one of Miller's most successful office locations, the North Dallas office.

Both women were with Miller for 28 years, and both resigned their executive positions 90 days ago. Cook had no ownership in the Miller company, despite growing the firm from a start up brokerage firm to over 28 offices and 1000 agents. She and Rice anticipate success with their new firm which will emphasize Internet-based technologies alongside personalized service.
