Realty Executives Launches Its Agents Online

Most large companies have terrific home search features, but do little to promote their own agents. REALTY EXECUTIVES is turning that approach upside down with the announcement of its free website and email program to all 8,000 of its agents worldwide.

As the first franchise company to introduce the 100% commission concept, REALTY EXECUTIVES is used to breaking barriers, and entry to the Internet is no exception. While many companies pay lip service to serving the Internet customer, company Web sites are often little more than beauty shots for the company. Only by promoting agents online does a company show that it truly believes that the Realtor should be at the center of the transaction.

"With this new e-mail system, anyone can easily contact a REALTY EXECUTIVES agent. All they have to know is the agent’s name and the company’s name," said Rich Rector, president of REALTY EXECUTIVES International. "Not only does this continue our efforts to become as easily accessible to customers as possible, it also promotes consistency and name recognition for the company."

With the announcement of free Web pages, REALTY EXECUTIVES will link its agents directly to the company's redesigned site at www.realtyexecutives.com. Each agent will also have an exclusive Web address. In addition, the company will automatically offer and coordinate e-mail addresses for each associate.

In most cases, the addresses will consist of the associate’s first and last name followed by @realtyexecutives.com. Currently, many REALTY EXECUTIVES associates use e-mail for business purposes, with a lot of variety used in the addresses. The new program will offer a standard address for all associates. An associate who already has a web site or an e-mail address can simply transfer the address to the new REALTY EXECUTIVES Internet program. An outside web design company will work with each associate to coordinate the individual web sites.

Other media, such as yard signs, business cards and other printed materials is being coordinated to include associates’ web page and e-mail addresses.

According to the company, more than 60 percent of Realtors already use e-mail for business purposes, however only 30 percent of Realtors have a business web page.

"Specifically designed web sites puts Realty Executives on the cutting edge of the real estate industry. We realize the importance of the Internet to our business, and we wanted to make the process of launching a web page as simple as possible for all agents," Rector said.
