Senior principals from the commercial real estate industry and leaders of
major real estate trade associations gathered in Washington for the inaugural
meeting of The Real Estate Roundtable. As the successor to the National Realty
Committee (NRC), The Real Estate Roundtable will advocate on key federal
tax, finance, environment and technology issues vital to income-producing
real estate on the entire industry's behalf.
The organization consists of chairmen, chief executive officers, presidents
and managing directors of the nation's top public and privately owned real
estate companies and financial entities. It also includes the elected
heads of major residential and commercial real estate trade associations
headquartered in Washington. Other members serve on the President's Council of
The Real Estate Roundtable. They include senior executives from leading public
and private real estate entities, law firms, financial services companies,
accounting firms and other industry advisors.
