HomeBuilder.com Increases Homes Viewed from 6 to 15 Million
HomeBuilder.com, the nation's leading new homes site and part of the Homestore.com family of real estate web sites, announced today that it has more than doubled its database of builders and number of homes viewed since the site launched a year ago. As the home building industry continues its record pace, so does HomeBuilder.com. The site boasts a year-over-year 100 percent increase in builders 14,500) and a 150 percent increase over last year of new homes viewed by consumers to 15 million new homes viewed monthly. HomeBuilder.com has delivered nearly 180,000 leads to builders as a result of their traffic influx. Consumers log on to view floor plans and photos, take virtual tours, research new communities or search for a custom builder without ever leaving their home or office. "We're proud to have streamlined the new home buying process for consumers by providing them the tools they need for searching online," said Bill Brown, chief operating officer of HomeBuilder.com. As the official new homes site of the National Association of Home Builders NAHB, HomeBuilder.com features more than 120,000 new homes, plans and models displayed from builders in more than 5,000 cities across the country. "We're really thrilled by the success of HomeBuilder.com and the way that our members have embraced the site," said Charlie Ruma, president of the NAHB and a builder from Columbus, Ohio. The site's marketing partners include more than 100 local homebuilders' associations who are committed to bringing this innovative marketing tool to builder members. "By partnering with HomeBuilder.com, builders can reach online consumers from literally anywhere in the world," Ruma added. "This is a tremendous value to both consumers and builders."
