ATLANTA, GA – July 20, 2000 - Construction Data Control, Inc. (CDCI), a
leading designer and developer of construction management software, announces
the release of its first property management program, iLandlord. This program
is designed to ease the paperwork and administration headaches of property
management by keeping comprehensive, easily accessed records. It is available
now for a free 90-day trial period.
In addition to tracking rents due and tenant information, iLandlord records and
organizes building maintenance and calculates mortgage amortization. As stated
in an upcoming review in the August issue of CPA Software News, “if you are
managing properties as investments, then you will be glad to have this
(mortgage calculator).”
The program provides detailed property analyses that compare expenses per
square foot with other properties. It also supplies tax reports and forms for
different operations and allows managers to keep archives of tenants once they
move out.
The simplicity of iLandlord is what sets it apart from other systems.
Non-accounting personnel helped develop this program, so there is no
requirement to know debits and credits. iLandlord maintains records on a cash
basis, prepares deposit slips for daily bank deposits and has a check register
for all disbursements.
The menu graphics, similar to that of a web page, are easy to navigate and
simplify access to all of iLandlord’s features. CPA Software News commends
iLandlord as delivering “a very nice and creative approach to the user
interface.”
Future releases of iLandlord will include an interface with CDCI’s accounting
packages, Profit Builder Millennium and Basic Builder. Internet based
reporting, available in the company’s accounting software, is also in the
final programming stages.
iLandlord is available to individual landlords and property management services
of all sizes. It has multi-user capabilities and tracks both single and
multi-family housing. Whether managing one unit or 1000, this program will
simplify record keeping and ease the crunch of tax time.
CDCI has been providing software to the construction industry since 1979. For
