In its February/March, 2001 edition, Success Magazine released the results of its Annual Franchisee Satisfaction Survey. THE BUYER'S AGENT, INC. was ranked number one among real estate franchisors and number thirty-eight overall.

To measure the franchisees' satisfaction, the University of North Carolina Research Unit gathered information about US franchisors from their franchisees. Companies were compared based on four major indicators: financial performance, corporate management, growth and stability, franchisor/franchisee relationship, and opportunities for growth. Unit owners were selected randomly then asked to respond to a series of statements and ranked them on a scale of one to five. Five stars was the highest rating a franchisor could receive in any category.
