The Weichert Family of Companies posted $25 billion in total company volume, up from $22 billion in 1999, says James M. Weichert, the company’s founder and president.

The Morris Plains, N.J.-based group has 200 branch offices and 7,500 sales associates in a market area that spans from Connecticut to Virginia. “Our hard-working and well trained sales associates report increases in both sales and in activity across all price ranges,” said Weichert.

More people came to Weichert, Realtors in 2000 to benefit from the company’s One Stop Shopping Services, which include assisting the customer to obtain a mortgage, insurance, title insurance and a home warranty. Weichert Financial Services, Weichert’s affiliated mortgage company, added the Weichert Gold Services program to its already impressive list of services offered to the public. Homebuyers who choose to participate in Weichert’s Gold Services Program will receive a mortgage decision within 24 hours of application and a guaranteed closing date. If Weichert Financial Services fails to meet its performance guarantees, the homebuyer will receive a $250 credit towards the mortgage related closing costs at the time of settlement.
