RE/MAX International has named Gateway, Inc. (NYSE: GTW) as the preferred
technology solutions provider for its global real estate franchise network.
Gateway technology solutions will be highlighted at the 2001 RE/MAX
International Convention in San Diego, Feb. 25-28.
RE/MAX affiliates will have access to specially configured desktop and
notebook computers, built-to-order to meet their specific needs. Gateway
training programs will help RE/MAX members maximize their technology investment
with hundreds of courses to meet a wide range of business needs. Course
offerings range from word processing to leveraging digital photography and the
Internet to expand their businesses. Gateway’s flexible training programs
allow customers to learn the way they want with courses available on the
Internet, CD- ROM training and instructor-led classes in 300 Gateway Country
stores across the nation.

Care services are an integral part of the total small business network
solution. Gateway offers businesses a range of services from free on-site

discounts on desktop or notebook computers, plus have convenient one-stop
shopping for more than 30,000 related accessories. These benefits will be
available only in the United States initially, with other countries to be added
in the future. RE/MAX currently has franchise operations in 37 countries.
