Prudential California Realty (PCR)
has been awarded The Gordon Brown Excellence Award, which recognizes the
National Top Prudential Referral Services Brokerage for their
outstanding support of corporate services staff, new corporate business
development and company participation at industry-related events.
The award was given by Prudential Referral Services and presented to PCR
in special awards ceremonies at The Prudential Real Estate Network’s
Annual Sales Convention held in Las Vegas this March.
PCR became a Prudential affiliate in 1997, though founded in 1887 as
Mason-McDuffie Real Estate. PCR is a leading innovator in real estate
technology solutions to its agents and clients with more than $3 million
in technology advances in 2000.
These included the proprietary agent WebTop, which enables agents to
conduct a myriad of activities from anywhere in the world; the eHomeSale
attracting buyers and sellers; Listing Watch, which automatically emails
the consumer when homes matching their criteria are listed; wireless
technology, enabling agents to access new listings from any compatible
cell phone; and the introduction of the consumer website
(http//www.pruweb.com), that allows consumers to conduct property
searches, activate Listing Watch, select an agent, check mortgage rates,
and find information about buying, selling and owning a home online.
PCR currently has more than 115 offices throughout Northern California
and Northern Nevada, with over 3,000 agents. The company has aggressive
expansion plans, which include regional expansion as well as expanded
offerings to consumers through both online and traditional methods.
