MarketLinx Solutions (www.marketlinx.com), a Knoxville based software
company that pioneered the development of open architecture MLS systems based
on Internet browser technology, announced that it signed contracts with the
Regional MLS of Minnesota, the Garden State MLS and the Memphis Area
Association of Realtors®, to provide systems based on its Internet browser
TEMPO™ software to all three boards. TEMPO™ provides real estate agents with
an easy to use MLS that is integrated with resources on the Internet and
positioned to take advantage of the information revolution in the real estate
industry.
The Regional MLS of Minnesota, based in St. Paul and covering the twin
cities area, is one of the largest MLS’s in the country with 11,000 users.
According to President, Brian Larson, “We highly valued the stability of
MarketLinx. They have steadily grown their business for five years and have
assembled an outstanding list of current accounts. Even more, we were
impressed with their record of delivering systems on schedule.”
The Garden State MLS, serving Northern New Jersey, also serves 11,000 users
and wanted a system, which had been proven in actual use. “MarketLinx TEMPO™
software has been in use as the sole MLS system for a large MLS for over three
years”, said Roger Wales, Executive Director. “It had the advanced features
that our users are looking for and we were confident that they could deliver a
system on time.”
The Memphis Area Association of Realtors® serves over 3,000 users in Western
Tennessee and Northern Mississippi. According to Jules Wade, Executive Vice
President, “MarketLinx has an outstanding track record in the industry. We went
to the effort to contact every one of their current clients and received
excellent reviews from each one.”
MarketLinx began operating as a privately held company in 1996. Having
launched the country’s first successful stand-alone, browser-based system for a
major Multiple Listing Service in 1997, MarketLinx is building on its
experience as the developer of TEMPO™ software. “The last six month have been
very successful for us with the on-time startup or conversion of five new
systems for large MLS boards”, said Doyal Hodge, MarketLinx President. "We are
continuing to work on new features and enhancements to our TEMPO™ software, but
we haven’t forgotten the most important factors. Our customers expect systems
that work and are delivered on time, and that’s what we provide “
