-The Prudential Real
Estate Affiliates Inc. is launching a nine-city tour in what it calls a
"comprehensive, aggressive and timely training
and networking event."
Prudential Real Estate Network members will have nine
opportunities during 2001 to network, learn best practices and grow
their business in a forum that goes beyond the industry's traditional
annual conference model.
Prudential University on Tour takes training and individual
learning to a new level. Each stop of the Tour will include two days
of learning, a nationally recognized speaker and over 16 sales
associate and management courses from which to choose. In addition,
the networking component is particularly strong, allowing attendees to
meet and create relationships for referrals and additional
business-building opportunities.
Prudential University on Tour offers the opportunity for
participants to custom design their real estate education, based on
their individual needs. At the Tour, participants can select courses
from four distinct tracks, Building Real Estate Business Skills;
Developing Skills in Specialty Areas; Developing eBusiness Strength;
and Enhancing Management Practices.
Each track of courses has been built with flexibility,
incorporating valuable and timely courses to meet the needs of real
estate professionals in that marketplace, from sessions like, "What
You Don't Know May Hurt You," a look at the competitive landscape, to
2001...A Real Estate Odyssey, and "How to Make yourself Famous."
Prudential University on Tour is bringing learning to affiliates and
real estate professionals at a time when people have less time and
want more convenient access to information that will help them
increase their productivity, profitability and overall performance.
Prudential University on Tour kicked off April 26 and 27 in Myrtle
Beach, S.C. Additional locations for the Tour include Baltimore, Md.;
Park City, Utah; Austin, Texas; Chicago; Sacramento, Calif.; Orlando,
Fla.; Seattle; and Westchester, N.Y. As venues and dates are
confirmed, more detailed information will be released.
As of Dec. 31, 2000, there were over 1,550 offices and 42,000
sales professionals in the franchise Network which generated a sales
volume of $96.0 billion in 2000. The franchisees generally are
independently owned and operated.
