The
Houston Association of Realtors® (HAR) and 360Training, a leading provider
of web based training content and infrastructure for government regulated
industries, today announced their partnership and official launch of the
Houston Association of Realtors® Virtual University through www.har.com.
The launch of the HAR Virtual University has broken new ground in Texas by
presenting all Texas licensed agents with the opportunity to take required
continuing education online, including final exams, anytime and anywhere.
Through the HAR Virtual University, Texas based agents can participate in
required education online, without the need to take the final exam in a
proctored facility.
With today's announcement of approvals to offer fully Internet delivered
continuing education through the HAR Virtual University, licensed agents now
have the option of also meeting the educational pre-requisites for license
renewal without ever leaving their home or office.
Today, the HAR Virtual University will begin accepting enrollments for MCE
courses that are delivered entirely via the Internet, including final exams
at www.har.com. The approved courses were designed to operate on standard
dial up modem connections with full sound and animation capabilities.
Approved course titles include Code of Ethics, Finance and Asset Management.
Other titles pending approval include Agency, Environmental Hazards, Fair
Housing and Trust Funds.
