Prudential Expands Home Connections Program
by Realty Times Staff
The Prudential Real Estate Affiliates Inc. announces additional features to its Prudential Home Connections(SM) ancillary services program, including an innovative multiple-channel platform. The new platform broadens the exposure of real estate and move-related services to new customer segments, such as Prudential's institutional clients and their employees, while enhancing the value of services delivered to real estate affiliate brokers who are part of the Prudential Real Estate Network and their customers. The channel created for Prudential Real Estate affiliate members provides opportunities for Prudential Real Estate brokers to offer a larger menu of homeownership services. The platform is hosted on Prudential Real Estate's private intranet site, PREA Center, and it allows affiliate brokers to choose the mix of products or services they believe will enhance the homebuying process. The range of services is broad enough to be offered to all those involved in this process, including owners, buyers and sellers. Once the broker chooses the mix of products they want to offer, they can add the links directly to their own Web site. The value to the consumer is the ability to easily research pricing and products on the broker's Web site, or they can dial the Home Connections toll-free number to ask about the products or services available at preferred prices(a). This will save consumers time and provide nearly instant access to the information they need to make decisions. In turn, real estate professionals benefit because they have an extended menu of value-added services to offer the consumer throughout the entire cycle of home ownership. The second channel reaches Prudential Relocation clients and offers increased services to traditional transferees. Whether it is a full-service transferee or a transferee not offered a full-service plan and seeking additional products and services, Prudential Home Connections(SM) provides solutions for making the transfer easier. And, for those who are offered a lump-sum relocation, this can help make the move less stressful. These transferees can now have instant access to a wide range of service providers -- with the comfort of knowing these providers are preferred by Prudential. The third channel provides an opportunity for Prudential Real Estate to reach even more consumers as part of an expanded benefits offering to companies and their employees. Prudential Home Connections will be an added service for employees of clients who utilize Prudential WorkingSolutions and RewardsPlus RealLife Benefits. These two companies are institutional providers of benefits delivery platforms that consolidate and integrate all aspects of the benefits supply chain to connect employees to benefit providers. Prudential Real Estate is the exclusive provider of real estate brokerage services on these platforms, as well as the main provider of ancillary home and move-related services. The fourth distribution channel makes these products and services, both relocation- and real estate-related, available on Prudential's Internet site, www.prudential.com. This means the platform extends directly to the millions of consumers who visit the company's Web site each month, thus introducing more consumers to the value of Prudential Real Estate. Each channel offers Prudential Real Estate Network member services and related home products, exclusively.
