Interealty Debuts MLS-based IDX System
Get more leads every month with Market Leader!

Interealty Corp. has introduced a comprehensive Web tool that enables Multiple Listing Services (MLSs) to comply with the NAR's new Internet Data Exchange (IDX) policy, better known as broker reciprocity. A significant benefit of the policy and Interealty's IDX solution is that local brokers now have the ability to not only display their own listings online, but also those of competing brokers.

As a result, consumers will have complete access to properties for sale from a single broker's site, which will produce greater numbers of leads and a larger pool of consumers to market their services to, for those brokers embracing online technology.

MLSs are looking for a proven technology partner that can bring them into compliance with the new policy by the NAR's deadline of January 2002, and help generate additional revenues for MLSs as they resell these services to their members. Interealty's new IDX solution provides a simple, easy and effective way for brokers to download MLS data -- in real time -- for display on their public Web sites, says the company.

Interealty's new solution also offers numerous other features and benefits to users. For example, the standalone program works with any existing MLS system and provides users a maintenance-free way to access IDX listings. All information is provided in "real time" to ensure data accuracy and, in turn, consumer satisfaction. The entire infrastructure and all listing content is hosted by Interealty so there is no need for MLSs, brokers or agents to invest in additional hardware and support. Search criteria and display formats can be configured to match individual MLSs' specific IDX guidelines. And, the program enhances the content of member sites while promoting members' services and listings through broad exposure.
