Cendant Mobility today announced key results across all lines of its
businesses for the first six months of 2001, exceeding all expectations and
breaking new barriers.
Key areas of growth to date in 2001 according to the company are:
- Seventy three new clients signed in the 2nd quarter of 2001 and 176
worldwide signed year-to-date - up 100 percent from the same period of
2000.
- To date, Cendant Mobility's Affinity business unit has serviced over
50,000 customers in 2001 and its closing volume is 12 percent higher than
anticipated.
- As a provider of three contracts for the outsourced
management of household goods shipments for the Department of Defense's Full
Service Moving Project, Cendant Mobility handled 7,300 initiations and over
2,200 delivered and completed moves for United States service members so far
this year.
- More than $98 million has been distributed to Cendant Mobility's
women- and minority-owned businesses the first six months of 2001 - a 22
percent increase in first-tier dollars and an impressive demonstration of its
commitment to supplier diversity.
- Cendant Mobility's Top Block service
jumped nearly 10 percent from the same time last year - a strong indicator of
client satisfaction.
