Century 21, Coldwell Banker and ERA – are the top three real estate
franchise networks and among the top franchises across all industries,
according to Franchise Times, a national trade magazine.
Of the Top 200 franchises listed, Century 21, Coldwell Banker and ERA were
the only national real estate franchise networks to appear on the list.
Primarily fast-food leaders, including McDonald’s (1), Burger King (5), KFC
(6), Pizza Hut (4) and Taco Bell (11) occupy the list’s top positions. Overall,
all three Cendant-affiliated real estate brands ranked among the top 100
franchises in the nation by units (domestic and foreign, combined) and
worldwide sales.
The “Top 200 Franchise Chains” is an annual ranking by Franchise Times, the
news and information source for the franchising industry. The publication
considers worldwide sales, as well as domestic and foreign units in compiling
its list.
