AHS Announces New Errors And Omissions Carrier

American Home Shield (AHS), a provider of real estate risk management services and a subsidiary of The ServiceMaster Company (NYSE: SVM), America's Home Service Company, is pleased to announce Arch Insurance Group (Arch) as the new insurance carrier for its Errors & Omissions (E&O) Liability Program, replacing Fireman's Fund.

Cal-Surance Associates, the program manager for many years, continues its partnership with AHS and its network of local, licensed account executives. Together they have provided thousands of real estate firms nationwide with comprehensive professional liability coverage.

Claims will continue to be handled by Lancer Claims Services, a third party administrator wholly owned by Cal-Surance. Lancer has been specializing in E&O claims for 25 years and specifically real estate E&O over the past seven years.

“This new partnership between Arch, Cal-Surance and AHS will continue to allow real estate brokers and their sales associates access to a quality E&O program during a difficult insurance market,” says David Crawford, Senior Vice President, AHS. “AHS is pleased to continue to market a first-rate E&O program, along with our market-leading home warranty service to home sellers and buyers.”
