RECyberspace Offers Summer Virtual Real Estate Convention

Following the success of the Real Estate CyberSpace Society's 2002 National Real Estate On-Line Convention and Exposition in April 2002, the Society is hosting a special Summer Session, a virtual real estate convention, for the many Realtors who were not able to attend the April convention.

The convention starts today through September 2, 2002, and is free to all all real estate professionals. The convention is promoted as a mini-version of the national convention of a couple of months ago. Three keynote speakers, Michael Russer, Allan F. Hainge, and John Tuccillo kick off the summer version, and will pass the baton to three other speakers to be announced. All keynotes can be accessed 24/7 by conventioneers.

In addition over 182 virtual booths by the leading real estate vendors will be available, many with drawings.

According to John Peckham, the Society’s Executive Director, the summer session resulted from the many requests from those who were unable to attend April’s main event and others looking for the opportunity to qualify for the Society’s RECS (Real Estate CyberSpace Specialist) designation.

"It's a little boost in the summertime, with updates in goods and services for real estate professionals," said Peckham, "and some new exhibitors like IBM are in attendance."

Peckham says that the exhibitors will give thousands of dollars in prizes away “All of the door prizes will be indexed at the Expo so visitors can be at any drawing they choose with one click. Many new exhibitors have been added since the main April event, and many have updated their show specials and offerings” he said.

Realty Times is a major sponsor of this event along with many real estate associations and organizations worldwide.

Peckham concluded, "Again, the only things missing will be out of pocket costs and time away from home! No airfare. No hotel bills. No lost shoe leather. No aching muscles, travel hassle or registration fees! This is truly a one click Summer Convention!”
