FedEx Express and FedEx Ground have joined the REALTOR VIP(SM) Alliance Program as premier partners of the National Association of Realtors®, bringing significant benefits to NAR members.
FedEx will be the exclusive provider of shipping services, offering sizable discounts with preferred pricing and cost savings to Realtors as well as to national, state and local association staff.
NAR President Martin Edwards Jr. said that FedEx was selected because of the company's established reputation as a trusted brand, unparalleled service and convenience, and a serious commitment to reach NAR members with its programs.

NAR chose FedEx as the result of an in-depth comparison of all providers. "We chose FedEx because it has a history of shared success with premier partners, including American Express, IBM, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce," said Bob Goldberg, NAR senior vice president for marketing and business
development. "FedEx also has special managers dedicated to the NAR program to handle the unique needs of NAR members."
The alliance, with FedEx companies FedEx Ground and FedEx Express, will provide Realtors discounts that vary depending on which of the many FedEx services they use. These include both FedEx Priority Overnight and Standard Overnight envelopes less than 8 oz., the FedEx 2-Day and FedEx Express
Saver, and both FedEx International Priority and FedEx International Economy services. Discounts are also offered on FedEx 1-Day Freight or FedEx 2-Day Freight and FedEx Ground services.
Another aspect of the program is an online benefit at fedex.com, where a shipping address book can be stored and labels can be created and printed. FedEx is also building a comprehensive marketing campaign aimed at Realtors and will include direct mail campaigns, advertising, convention attendance
and sponsorship.
