Sell With A Slogan
An application for REALTORS®

One of the very best ways to catch your prospects' attention is to have a slogan that is easily remembered. The Granddaddy of this type of advertising has to be Burma-Shave signs and their rhymes.

Here is one of their first ads:

"Past schoolhouses, take it slow

Let the little shavers grow "~ Burma Shave

Burma-Shave signs are an old version of today's "Got Milk?" ads, there were lots of variations and you saw them everywhere. This type of advertising is clever, a welcome diversion and very easily remembered by prospects and clients.

The Burma-Shave ads began in 1927 and ended in 1963. Surveys have shown that their name rings a bell with more than 90 percent of men over the age of 40. (Now that's a memorable ad campaign!)

What slogans are you or your company using? Here at our company we promote "Gain Market Share, Show Seniors You Care."

If no slogan exists today in your business, get one going fast. Stand out from the competition. Be remembered!

Seniorized Factoid: Having a good ditty will put cash in the kitty.
