The Lewiston valley offers a wide variety of mountain and stream recreational choices for the outdoorsman, and its beauty has the Lewiston real estate market rising.
"Lewiston Valley is a banana belt area with a wide range of recreational choices, rivers, mountains, warm weather or snow," says Realtor Debra Berry, "The valley and the surrounding areas offer fishing and hunting.
Berry advises, "The Lewiston/Clarkston valley is in a buyer's market, but the volume of sales is up 35 percent over last year. Prices are holding stable."
Says Realtor Kathy Parsells, "The Lewis Clark Valley offers the mildest climate in Idaho. It is located at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers. You can enjoy golf all year and in winter, it's a short drive to enjoy the best of winter snow sports."
Parsells says, "The real estate market in the Lewis Clark Valley has been very strong and active with sales volume up 20 percent in 2002 over 2001. The low interest rates continue and the sales volume continues active through January 2003.
"Regardless of what anyone may have heard, real estate is selling in our valley," says Realtor Judy Higgins. "It is not a clear buyer's or seller's market....It is just a great time to buy and sell! The following statistics released by the Lewis-Clark MLS from last year helps clarify what is selling and for how much in our VALLEY!
