Green Valley, a planned development in Henderson, Nevada is almost out of land and prices are rising, say local Realtors.
"Green Valley Ranch is a master-planned community with a new community center, concert and play theater, a great library, walking trails, and a very desirable lifestyle," says Realtor Sharon Durdel. "There are many builders, all price ranges and a Del Webb retirement community and also guard-gated golf communities. It is well-established community with very few new homes left - no land available, and some of the best schools in the Valley, with great access to freeways, the airport, and excellent shopping.
Suggests Realtor Peter Griffiths, "This small but inviting community in Henderson boasts of over 600 homes sold in the last six months. The prices ranged from $1,162,000 in a beautifully maintained golfing community to a 1,282 square home that sold for $149,000. Whether you are interested in luxury or just living in a picturesque environment, Green Valley and Green Valley Ranch might be just what you are looking for."
"The city of Henderson has done a great job of handling the tremendous growth," says Realtor Daniel Butterworth. "Henderson/Green Valley has been at the top of the list as one of the fastest growing cities in the country. But - After tremendous growth in the last few years - the construction of new homes in Henderson has slowed significantly (running out of land). However, demand remains at all time highs. The result has been a significant increase in prices over the last couple of years. I believe this trend will continue as Henderson remains many individuals' choice for places to live in Las Vegas."
