St. Charles And Calvert Counties In Maryland Booming Like All Metro D.C.
An application for REALTORS®

St. Charles and Calvert Counties in Maryland are like all other metro Washington, D.C. residential areas - red hot and selling for more.

"Calvert County is located south of Anne Arundel County, north and west of the Chesapeake Bay, and east of Charles and Saint Marys County," explains Realtor Carlos Gautier, "Calvert County is a very beautiful area with lots of waterfront properties, rolling hills, farm land, with many established and new neighborhoods. Calvert County is one of the fastest growing areas in the DC metro area. It's southern Maryland at it's best, and at some of the best prices in the DC metro area."

Gautier suggests, "It's great for those who love being not "too far" from the city but in the peacefulness of country living. There's a wide mix to pick from in Calvert County, older neighborhoods, new communities, custom-built homes, farmhouse settings, and more. You name it - you can find it in Calvert County."

"Solomon's Island has water access everywhere," says Realtor Wayne Bennett, "You will find sidewalks lined with awesome little shops. Charter, fishing, and skiing boats can be rented for a day of relaxation. Day and night cruise are offered with dinner and dancing. There are multiple night clubs/ bars in the area."

Charles County

"Charles County attracts home shoppers that are looking to be close enough to DC to commute in," says Gautier, "but not have to be caught up in the hussle-bussle of the city. There are many great locations in this area, affordable waterfront properties, planned communities, country estates, farms.... There's something there for every home shopper. Come down and see why so many are loving life in southern Maryland."

Advises Gautier, "Charles County is south of Prince Georges County, about 20 to 25 miles south of Washington DC. Many relocate to Charles County to get a taste of the country without having to move too far from the city. They find that their money tends to go a little farther in Charles County than most of it's neighboring counties."
