The Best Free Mailing To Past Clients

The best kind of mailing to your past clients is basically free to you - clip and sent them little articles or email them Web pages that you think they'd find interesting.

You should have a profile written on each one of your buyers and sellers that tells you, at minimum, the following:

  • Age
  • Occupation (husband and wife)
  • Kids (names and ages and school attended for each)
  • Hobbies
  • Vacation preferences

Armed with the knowledge contained therein, just do the following. Every time you see a webpage or print publication page that would likely interest one of your prospects -- send it to him or her.

That's it. If it is an email, write a nice cover note … something like this.

Dear Jake:

You are a new homeowner, I thought this article on winterizing your home might be of interest to you.

This publication, RealtyTimes.com, carries a great many stories about homeownership. Because of that, I thought you might want to sign up for a free subscription.

Hello to Lola and the kids for me, and let me know if you or any of your friends need any help on realty matters.

Cordially,

Sammy Sellezabunch, e-PRO, CRS

You can find information whether your client is a golf aficionado or a gourmet cook, or has other interests and email it to them.

What could be easier? Plus, it's not a "canned" mailing. The recipients will feel that it's from your heart, just because you cared about them. Moreover, it's personalized to then. Try it beginning now. Sometimes the best things in life are (almost) free, right?
