Michigan's St. Clair Shores Offers Buyers Value
Realtors in the community of St. Clair Shores, Michigan say that their market still favors buyers but that sellers who put their homes in good condition and price them well, have little trouble getting them sold.
"Currently, there are quite a few homes in all sizes and price ranges for sale in the area," says Realtor Skip Munson. "Interest rates are staying competitively low and we are definitely experiencing a buyer's market. Prices are down a percent or two from previous years, making correct pricing and showing condition of homes extremely important. The average days-on-market is about 60, however, a home that is priced right will sell quickly."
"It's still a very good buyer's market," advises Realtor Sal Zerillo. "Home prices are down about one to two percent. Listing volume is up. Demand has peaked. Sellers need to take care of the little things to make their home show well. The best home at the best price will win in this market."
Offers Realtor Alice W. Baetz, "There continues to be a wide variety and number of houses currently for sale in St. Clair Shores. Interest rates are still at a very attractive rate but do show signs of getting ready to rise. We are definitely in a buyer's market so for buyers there is a wide variety of choice and for sellers it is extremely important to be priced competitively."
