The median list price is currently $151,500 -- down 3.9 percent from last year. The largest drop, however, has been in the number of homes sold -- down 17.9 percent.

Homes are selling in under 90 days, however.

Local real estate expert Curtis York notes, "Lithonia is a beautiful city located inside the boundary lines of Dekalk county. It has grown significantly over the last 5-10 years. There is a big push to recruit major companies into the Dekalb area and Lithonia is one of the key cities. Recently a major mall, "Stonecrest" opened in the area and more commercial companies are coming this way, making life a little easier for the local residents."
