Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, housing reports indicate that average days on market has increased from 65 to 81 days in the last year, a common trend for much of the country.
Total sales volume for the area has turned in favor of buyers as well, with a 5.6 percent decrease.
The good news for sellers? Average prices continue to rise at a healthy, and hopefully sustainable, rate of 5 percent.
Oklahoma City is expecting large additions to its job market -- with announcements from Dell and Tinker Air Force Base -- adding nearly 19,000 new jobs -- a sure boost to any local economy.
