Market Conditions: Monument, Colorado
An application for REALTORS®

Realtor Darryl Deighton of Monument, Colorado, is reporting that the housing market for the area in 2007 was significantly slower than in 2005 and 2006.

Monument is a forested community located north of Colorado Springs. And Recent sales in Monument have followed the Colorado Springs market, which has been stabilizing due to the recent return of troops to the military installations in town.

Inventory in Monument was up about 25 percent. New construction slowed and it was generally a buyer's market.

This trend is set to continue through 2008.
