An application for REALTORS® The average home price in Fort Worth, Texas, is currently being reported in the mid $100,000 range -- affordable by most all stretches of the imagination.

Local market experts at Realty World Professionals reports, "Despite the negative National News the Ft. Worth Metroplex is doing just fine."

They go on to report that the "only bad news in DFW real estate is the rising number of foreclosures, as a result of bad lending practices in recent years."

Local expert Ann Anker reports that there are great real estate opportunities in Fort Worth. "Beginning October 2008," she says, "the inventory was still high with 936 available homes, down slightly 14% from same period in 2007." The average sales price was up 2 percent.
