Abcnews.com is reporting that one of the top areas in the country right now for housing is El Paso, Texas. This bustling city they say, has weathered both the bubble and bust. Remaining seeminly unaffected.
Realty Times' local experts for the city are reporting that the city is a buyers market with stable prices.
Realtors Dan and Patti Olivas note, "El Paso is in an unusual market right now. While there are many homes on the market, the list price to sales price ratio is still around 97-98% and sales prices are up from where they were a year ago. We are seeing sellers offering concessions to be competitive in the market and builders are very competitive now also."
Expert Jennifer Stroh reports that the city has continued to hold its own -- for both buyers and sellers. And she reports, "El Paso has one of the most reasonable housing markets in the nation."
