The Obama Administration appears to have hit the ground running, with ABC News reporting that numerous projects and "renovations" are underway in Washington.

First, there was the much anticipated $787 billion stimulus plan, which among countless other issues, is expected to create 3.5 million jobs in the next 2 years.

Along with this Administration's efforts on housing and the economy, according to ABC News, the President has also:

  • signed an executive order Monday lifting the 7½-year ban on federal funding for embryonic stem cell research and a memorandum covering all scientific research,

  • closed Guantanamo Bay Military Facility, and

  • lifted the ban on photographing flag-draped casket of fallen military.
