The Obama Administration appears to have hit the ground running, with ABC News reporting that numerous projects and "renovations" are underway in Washington.
First, there was the much anticipated $787 billion stimulus plan, which among countless other issues, is expected to create 3.5 million jobs in the next 2 years.
Along with this Administration's efforts on housing and the economy, according to ABC News, the President has also:
- signed an executive order Monday lifting the 7½-year ban on federal funding for embryonic stem cell research and a memorandum covering all scientific research,
- closed Guantanamo Bay Military Facility, and
- lifted the ban on photographing flag-draped casket of fallen military.
