What is Agent Locator?
If you look underneath our logo on any page of Realty Times, you'll see a link to Agent Locator (called "AGENTS"). When consumers visit our site, they will find this link on every single page. Once they go there, they will be able to browse through all of the agent listings.
Each listing shows your name and office, links to your web site or e-mail, and lets you provide a brief description of what you or your office do.
Realty Times is the featured Real Estate News Service for many of the top portals including Realtor.com, Yahoo! and Lycos, giving your listing exposure to a broad array of prospects.
How much does Agent Locator cost?
Offices will be charged $100.00 annually. This charge is for a listing in up to 10 cities. Each additional city is ten dollars. The number of cities you may sign up for is not limited, but they must be in the same geographic area and we request that you actually serve all of the areas you sign up for.
Individual Agents will be charged $50.00 annually. This charge is for a listing in up to 5 cities. Each additional city is ten dollars. There number of cities you may sign up for is not limited, but they must be in the same geographic area and we request that you actually serve all of the areas you sign up for.
Can I add my picture to my listing?
Yes. If you are a
Newsletter Plus subscriber, your Newsletter Picture will automatically be added to your Agent Locator listings.
How will prospects find me?
If you look at the top of this page, you'll see our logo on the left hand side. Underneath this logo is the word "AGENTS". When visitors click here, they can search through all of our agent listings sorted by state and city. This link is available on every page of Realty Times. Also, there is a "Find an Agent" button in the right-hand menu of most Realty Times pages that provides the same feature. Realty Times news is featured on the major portal sites including Yahoo!, Lycos and Go.com.
How do I get to the top of the list?
Agent Locator is set up on a first come, first serve system. If you are the first person to sign up for a particular city, you will be at the top of the list. If people unsubscribe for any reason, you can move up on the list.
I don't have a web site. Can I still sign up?
Yes. There are two things you can do:
- Sign up to receive Newsletter Plus, and enter the link you'll receive as your Web address, or
- When you sign up for the Agent Locator, enter mailto:your email address in the field that asks for your URL. An example: mailto:SuzyAgent@realtytimes.com. If you do this, your listing will link to a message composer which will allow prospects to email you directly.
How many cities can I sign up for?
You can sign up for as many cities as you would like, but they must be in the same geographic area and we request that you actually serve all of the areas you sign up for. There is an additional charge for each city over 5 for agents and 10 for offices (see
How much does Agent Locator Cost? above.)
Can I sign up for more than one state?
If you serve an area that spans multiple states, you can sign up in each of the states that you serve. You will need to fill out a separate form for each state where you want to be listed.
I can't find the city I want in the list. Can you add it?
Yes. If you don't see a city in our Agent Locator directory, it is because no agent has signed up for that particular city. As soon as an agent or office signs up, we will add that city, and they will be at the top of the list.
