How to Maintain a Crispy Clean Home without Putting Too Much Effort in It

Written by Posted On Tuesday, 18 July 2017 13:38

In this day and age of busy lifestyles, it’s hard to keep up with every single detail and still maintain a flawlessly clean household. After a long day at work, we all just want to unbuckle and relax in the comfort of our couch.

However, after a while, the home appearance starts to bug us and grows into yet another reason for stress. Then again, some people seem to manage it all, which leaves us questioning what their secret is. How do they manage to work, clean, and successfully fulfill all their daily duties without breaking a sweat?

Well, there must be at least one of the about 160, 000, 000 housing units in U.S that knows the answer. And the key to avoiding investing much effort and still having a gorgeous place is, of course, in good organization.

Create a System

If you want to reduce the cleaning time, then create a simple system. Meaning, always start in the same order while looking at the process as a form of relaxation or a workout. Don’t waste the time going back and forth, just keep on sweeping from one room to another as usual, with a bit more motivation, knowing it’s time to meditate and clear your mind along with your home.

Likewise, avoid making mistakes such as vacuuming first and then dusting, as it only creates more areas to clean afterwards. Each space has its own cleaning procedure, so make a checklist and follow the correct instructions.

Keep the Cleaning Tools Ready for Use

The oldest excuse is postponing the work because you lack all the necessary tools and cleaning products. Therefore, have the necessary cleaning products ready if you plan to minimize the cleaning time. Make sure to acquire the correct house cleaning essentials, including:

Old clothes or an apron to avoid dangerous substances coming in contact with your skin;

Microfiber cloth;

Scrub cloth;

Toilet brush;

Rubber gloves;

Disinfecting products;

Dust mop;

Dishwashing liquid;

Spray bottles;

One quite helpful tip to remember is to pour cleaners into small easy-to-carry spray bottles. Not only will this save time, but it will make it easier to carry all of the supplies in one bucket.

The Bathroom is a Bargain

For most people, cleaning the bathroom represents an annoyance and struggle. Having said that, there is a good news for all those affected by this issue – it can be done quickly and without any trouble. Simply buy a shower cleaner, then spray it, rinse it, and walk away. This effective solution is cheap and can prevent the shower dirt from accumulating.

What about the Dust?

Another tip which will make your day is that you don’t have to spray and rub the dust. Just use a feather duster and go over the pictures and other dust affected areas. Though we see it mostly in the movies, the feather duster is the best resource to tackle the dust, apart from being the most cost-effective choice.

Treat the Rust with Lemon

Out with the old, in with new doesn’t have to be your motto anymore. With the use of lemon, all the rusty spots will disappear and your home will look as good as new. Cut a lemon in half and leave it for a few minutes to dissolve the rust. If necessary, scrub it with a brush and watch how the stains go away.

Stop Smothering Your Space

You can’t expect to save time if you are constantly bringing in needless stuff. The more you bring in, the more time it will take to clean the clutter. So, clear out the household by removing that mess to open up the space and make more room. If you don’t know what to do with it, consider renting a storage unit.

When is The Time to Call a Cleaning Service?

Everything concerning house cleaning can be done alone or with the help of friends and family. Nevertheless, there are some residential window cleaning professionals who can take this job off your hands for a modest price.

For example, one can prevent breaking the bank and still have a clean home by applying for a regular cleaning program. In addition, this type of programs leaves the schedule open for customers to create a plan most suited to their time and offer free consultations.

Once you begin with your cleaning regime you might even start to enjoy it. All you need is to take 20 minutes per day and go over the cleaning plan. If you really can’t manage it all by yourself, consider customized cleaning services that will do the hard work for you. After all, we all need pampering from time to time.
