These are the lines that connect your home to the public water and sewage systems, and so it’s important to understand that the city’s liability ends at your property line, which can then make the overall costs of repairing these pipes astronomical!

It may not necessarily break the bank, but you are going to want to make sure you have sewer or water line insurance and have your lines inspected on an annual basis for cracks and leaks.
