Quartz Countertop is indeed a smart and wise option for your kitchen due to its fewer maintenance requirements. Since it is a hard and durable material, it can easily withstand the different high temperatures in your kitchen. However, it is still a task to keep it shiny and bright as new despite its frequent use.

Here are 7 tips mentioned to help you make your quartz countertop shine.

  • Daily Cleaning

Daily cleaning can really help make your countertop shine. You need to keep a spray bottle filled with water to be able to apply it every time you are done using your counter.

You can also apply dish detergent and use a soft cloth to rinse off the dirt and dust from the counter. The point is to get 5-10 minutes out of your busy routine and invest them in the daily cleaning.

  • Water & Vinegar

You can give your countertop a polished and new look by using a mixture of water and vinegar. You need to add 25% of vinegar in 75% of water to make a mixture. It is better if you get it filled in a spray bottle to apply it equally on all areas of the counter.

  • Sticky Substance

A stick substance can make quartz countertops look dull and dirty. You need to get rid of it immediately to make sure that it doesn’t cause to affect the shine of your counter.

If you allow any sticky substance to stay on your counter overnight or even for a few hours, you would have to scrape it off with a knife lately.

  • Disinfecting

Disinfecting your quartz countertop is equally important to keep it clean and shiny. You can use the paper towel to remove the debris caused by fish, seafood, or other raw meats.

Then, you can apply an anti-bacterial cleaner to the counter and let it stay for a few minutes. After that, you would have to wipe it off properly.

  • Scrub with Sponge

Since quartz countertop has a non-porous surface, you can use the sponge to scrub it off properly. It is then suggested to use a dry cloth to make sure that the water gets wiped out completely. Otherwise, it would end up developing a few lines or stains which would affect the natural shine of quartz countertop.

  • Alcohol

You can also use rubbing alcohol to make your quartz countertop shine as new. However, you must use it in proportion with warm water and mild dish soap.

It is surely one of the easiest methods to make your counters shine without using much of your effort and money.

  • Window Cleaner

The use of window cleaner is another useful tip to keep your countertop as fresh as new. A window cleaner has the power of cutting grease from the hard surfaces.

Since a quartz countertop is exposed to grease and oil in a kitchen, you can apply a window cleaner to it in small quantity to get a streak-free shiny countertop.
