This will depend on the shape of the pool, as well as the depth of the pool. It is better to leave the pump overnight so that it can get filled. You do not have to supervise the entire refilling as it may take a long time.

  2. Make sure the water is flowing and everything is perfect. Though there is no need to stand there and watch the pool getting refilled, you need to check sometime whether or not the pump is working and the water is flowing.

  3. After the refilling is done, you have to wait for some time as it will allow the water to settle. After a few hours, you can add the essential additives and chemicals to maintain the proper pH level and alkalinity of the pool.
