You do not want to spend the whole day working in the kitchen and not doing things that actually make your life worth living. Here mentioned below are a few kitchen tools that will surely make your time in the kitchen easier.

1.     Hand blender

A great hand blender is a must have in every kitchen. Not only does it not take up room in your counter shelf which is a perk for those with smaller kitchens, but it can also be used in tons of different ways. These little machines are so magical, they not only blend soups, they save you time and make clean up a breeze.

2.     Vacuum sealers

Far from gimmicky infomercial products, vacuum sealers are incredibly useful at preserving food. They became popular in the late 90s and early 2000s with the rise of Food saver but then sort of faded into the background of the culinary world. Top rated vacuum sealers for food you need to know are Food saver 4840 2-in-1, NESCO Deluxe vacuum sealer etc.

Air is your biggest enemy to maintaining the food's quality over time. Oxygen allows mold to grow, which is why open block of cheese in the fridge wrapped in plastic wrap turns fuzzy after a few weeks. A vacuum sealer can help preserve most fruits, vegetables and herbs for weeks in the refrigerator or months in the freezer.

3.     Food processor

Make homemade, healthy peanut butter in a food processor. This essential is the best of all kitchen tools. It slices, purees, chops, and grinds. No kitchen is complete without a food processor. Use it to puree soups, prepare salsa, grind meat, and shred cheese without messing with a ton of other gadgets. You can process yummy things for your kids in no time with the help of food processor.

4.     Pressure cooker

6.     Basic non electric essentials

Dual-side magnetic measuring spoons – If you are like me and don’t have a lot of room to store extra sets of things, then these measuring spoons are for you! It’s nice having one-sided for dry ingredients and another-side for wet ingredients. They also nest perfectly and stay together with magnetic handles. I would get rid of all of my cooking utensils and just use these because I love them!

They are so easy to take care of and come with a handy mesh bag. You can use these wooden spoons for just about everything you can think of! The best part, you do not have to worry about plastic leaching into your food.

Silicon mats are one of the basics that you need. Every time I bake cookies or a pizza, I always lay down my baking mats and everything comes out perfectly. It’s way better than parchment paper, plus you can reuse them over and over again.

Basically while buying essentials for kitchen you need to be sharp and not end up investing in useless things. Buy those items which can actually reduce your labor and save you time. Do not go for heavy machines, they are no doubt time savers but they cost a lot and occupy lots of space. Invest in basic equipment first and then go for luxuries.

You can live without luxury but basic needs are something you cannot survive without. In this era, when men and women both are working, you hardly have time on your hands to cook and do all processing manually. It will be smart of you to buy these six essentials in order to make your kitchen look modern and well-equipped, plus you will love spending time in your kitchen.
