There are few important key steps to do during the end of tenancy cleaning, which will not only ensure the return of the deposit, but will make a good impression to the house lord. If you want to make sure that you will not forget something in the hurry - make yourself a cleaning checklist and include some or all of the following highlights in it.

1) Begin from the dirtiest rooms, which are usually the bathroom, the kitchen and the dining room. Things to do in the kitchen:

- Defrost the fridge and the freezer as one of the first steps, because it will take quite some time. Clear these huge kitchen appliances of food and sanitize the different compartments with a special sanitizing agent;

- Clean the cupboards and all the kitchen utensils. Wipe off dust from the open shelves and rearrange all the objects in the cupboards/on the shelves;

- Check out the condition of the floorings. Use a rental floor-scrubber machine for tiled or laminate floorings to achieve the desired effect;

- Clean the microwave, the gas stove and the burner cans. Spend some more time for oven cleaning as it usually requires a complete disassemble of the metal racks and soaking in cleaning solution. Pay more attention when polishing the lights and the vents.

- Clean all the small details such as the lights, the decorative elements, the sockets, the curtains and the window frames;

- Clean the windows from both sides and a great idea is to schedule this exercise for a warm but not hot day, as well as without a direct sunshine and wind;

In the bathroom:

Clean the toilette using the toilette brush and a sanitizing agent. Spray a little bit of deodorizer to enhance the cleansing effect;

- Thoroughly clean and sanitize the floorings, which are often tiled floorings. Use a special grooming brush to get rid of the dirt in the grout lines;

- Clean the bath and the bath curtain, along with all the chrome parts by using only a special detergent for chrome parts;

- Check out the condition of the trash disposal and clean if needed. Take care about the disposal of waste;

- Make sure that the lights, the windows and the vents are functioning as they should. Carefully clean up the moving surfaces with a clean cloth slightly dampen in rubbing alcohol. Another great tip is to use just wet wipes as they contain a very small amount of alcohol;

In the dining room:

- Hire a professional cleaning team for the most overwhelming tasks such as carpet cleaning. There is nothing to beat the tools and the detergents of the professional cleaners;

- Check out all the doors and walls for attached or hanging objects. Remove all the hanging objects from the walls and clean the dry traces of glue to leave beautiful surfaces. Keep in mind that you may have to repair or repaint the damaged areas after clearing posters, boards or hangers attached with screws;

- Check out the condition of the furnishings and pre-vacuum all the textile upholsteries. The fabrics should be spot cleaned if possible, which will save plenty of time and efforts;

2) Continue with the rest of the house and again from the dirtiest areas and objects, for example:

- Clean the sinks in the house, the countertops and the tables;

- Inspect the outdoor areas from rubbish and imperfections such as fallen leaves in the garden, rocks or dirt on the walkways and more.
